Changing Careers

Changing Careers…

It sounds scary doesnt it?

Especially in these crazy times, when you cant be sure of what is up or down.

But here I am…

Passed my NASM CPT and after 14 years of being a medical secretary I am looking to switch gears and take what I learned from NASM (and my friend Steve) and work as a personal trainer.

There is nothing glamorous here. No perfect schedules. No benefits.

Yet I feel for this. I anticipate this.

My goal is ultimately to help people to regain their health (the one wealth in this economy) and feel better about themselves and to be better in general.. Whether they want to ease their pains, look good at the next social event on the calendar, lower their cholesterol or chase their kids/grandkids/neices or nephews – I want to help them along.

Just like I have been helped along over the last year.

Thanks Steve!

And so you know, I couldnt have done it w/out being surrounded by strength.. Beth, Katy, Melissa, Rebecca, Betsy, Michelle & Becky. Strong is indeed the new beautiful.
